In recognition and support of Muhuru Maori we are joined by TetraMap Facilitators Haani Huata and Kararaina McLean.
“I think this is a lovely way for TetraMap to highlight Te Reo Māori and how it can be used everywhere no matter how much or how little is used and spoken. That’s what Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori is about-takeaway, revitalise, support, motivation.”
Haani Huata
Both Haani and Kararaina work as part of the professional development team at Te Wananga O Aotearoa. Fluent Te Reo speakers, passionate about Māori culture, learning and teaching, and on a journey to become Master TetraMap Facilitators – amongst other things – they bring wisdom, generosity, humility and a sense of fun to our community!
Anything that can help you speak more Māori. An hour a day, half the day, all day every day, or as a beginner just start with greeting and farewells in Māori. Help to revitalise te reo Māori as much as you can during Mahuru – bring it in to your workshops and online meetings.
Be firm, clear, calm and bright – just give it a go!
This workshop is open to all, invite your whanau, colleagues and friends.
